Jerry Cramer has spent the last 45 years in the music industry. He began his career with his own garage band in the late fifties. He had the fortune to co-write a song with a couple other writers that would produce a block buster hit in the early sixties which moved him on into the inside of the industry. Doors opened for him to be a writer for a Nashville based publisher but he didn't like the pay scale and the fact that he wouldn't receive any of the royalties from the songs he wrote so he moved on. He went to work for Maverick Talent a booking agency in those days and began to book big name country music acts. After doing this for a couple of year became bored and really wanted to pursue his own interest in music as a writer and performer.

He went to Las Vegas and formed him a band that would work the clubs, hotels and casinos. The group performed the standard hits of contemporary music such as Sinatra, Bennett, Como and the like. After being in Vegas for three years he ran into a Black musician who had a blues band and was in need of a road musician and singer to play in the southern states for the clues clubs or juke joints of the day so since Jerry played a good blues bass and new a lot of those good old delta blues tunes he joined the band and left Vegas behind. He had a great time with this blues band all though he was the only bit of salt in a whole barrel of pepper, so they would say! He could tell you a ton of funny stories about working with this group and being the only white boy in the place!

After doin a two year stint with the brothers he decided to form his own country music group because country music clubs were everywhere and in those days that was where the money was at. He moved to Florida and began to work the clubs up and down the gulf and along that strip over into Alabama and Mississippi. The group eventually got a gig at a great club in Pensacola and became the house band. They stated there for eighteen months. During this stint Jerry played host to numerous stars that would come into town to do concert gigs and then stop by the club for a little r and r after the concert. He befriend a producer from Nashville who later called to let him know that there was a need for a road band to be the opening at for the Grand Ole Opry Caravan of Stars shows that traveled through out the United States. He packed his bags his boys and borrowed enough money from some of his dear friends and fans to move to Music City and put a down payment on a bus. He and the group worked with many of the greats in country music such as Ernest Tubb, Conway Twitty, Mel Street, Ernie Ashworth, Del Reeves, Justin Tubb, and a host of others. Jerry had a comedy side to him as well and began to do some of his comedy characters as part of the show. This would eventually lead him to work with some of the comedy greats such as Lonzo and Oscar, Homer and Jethro, Junior Samples, Stringbean, Grandpa Jones, Minnie Pearl, Jerry Clower and others.

Today Jerry is still a songwriter, singer, recording artist, entertainer and comedian. He also wears the hat as an artist manger, record producer, record label owner, publishing company owner and website designer and marketer, He and his partners Mark Hendry and Dennis " The Longman Binder" are building Ojack Records as a formidable Indie Record Label and are in search of new talent.
